ANTONIO DI NARDO WINS THE SERIE BKT MVP TROPHY FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH

A March to be remembered for Antonio Di Nardo, who, thanks to top-level performances, has won the Serie BKT MVP Trophy. A period as an absolute protagonist for the attacker, which has earned him the first MVP recognition of his career and makes him the first Pescara Calcio footballer to receive this prestigious award.

The MVP Trophy of the Month, devised by BKT, leader company in the production of Off-Highway tires and Title Sponsor of the championship, and officially recognized by Lega B, was awarded on the basis of the votes expressed by the journalists of DAZN, official broadcaster of Serie BKT, Stats Perform and journalist and presenter Chiara Giuffrida. The award was handed over to the Biancazzurro attacker on the occasion of the Pescara–Juve Stabia game during the pre-match ceremony on matchday 36 of the championship.

Opta data also certify Di Nardo’s exceptional output for the month of March: with eight goals the attacker was the best scorer for the period. These performances also mean that he was in the top 3 in Serie BKT for goals per minute, with a goal scored every 84.5 minutes.

These goals and this continuity have led to Di Nardo earning third place in the table of goalscorers for the season, which will definitely help Pescara at the end of the Serie BKT season.
