The weekend of 25 and 26 April was special for all fans of the BKT United Rugby Championship and, in particular, for kids. On the occasion of the 16th day of the championship, BKT – Title Sponsor of URC since 2022 – participated in the Kids Round, an initiative designed to make children the protagonists and bring together two worlds of spectacle: international rugby and the high-energy world of Monster Jam.

During the Kids Round, the weekend matches were transformed into an even more captivating experience for young fans, who had the opportunity to meet the mascots of the URC teams and experience the match in an party atmosphere of fun and participation.

The entertainment in the stands and pitchside was also accompanied by a special digital activation, again aimed at the kids. They were invited to take part in a creative challenge: to create and personalize the Monster Jam Truck inspired to by their own favourite URC team.

Each participant was able to download the preview of the Monster Jam Truck, colour it in and personalize it using their own imagination and the colours of their beloved team directly from the official competition website. The designs have been collected up and evaluated, awarding prizes for those that stood out for their creativity and originality.

The designs that were most appreciated by the jury will be revealed via announcements on the social channels @urc and @bkt.sport, including the winner of the initiative. The youngster who is able to create the design that is most appreciated by the jury will win four tickets to attend the Monster Jam show in Cardiff on 16 May, one of the stages of the international tour, together with their family. On that very day the winning design will then be shared on the @bkt.sport, @urc and @monsterjam social channels in a full animation presentation.

This initiative has come about thanks to the long collaboration between BKT and Monster Jam, of which the former has been Official Tire Partner since 2014, and represents a perfect match between two universes that are very different yet united by the same values: passion, spectacle, power and fun.

With the Kids Round, BKT once again confirms its commitment to creating memorable experiences that are capable of involving new generations and involving kids in the world of sport through creative, inclusive and exciting initiatives.
