Everything is ready for an exciting new edition of the World Women’s Curling Championship. From 14 to 22 March the Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, in the province of Alberta, will host the new edition of the BKT Women’s Curling Championship 2026. After having also hosted last year’s edition of the BKT Men’s World Curling Championship, Canada confirms its role as one of the world homes of this sport.

BKT, leader company in the production of Off-Highway tires and Title Sponsor of the event, is also preparing to experience this new edition as a protagonist with a series of initiatives devoted to fans on the days when the key phases of the competition take place.

On 20, 21 and 22 March, the BKT Fan Zone, located at the entrance to the WinSport Event Centre in Calgary, will become a meeting place and point of reference for world curling fans. Here fans will be able to receive exclusive BKT gadget, win an official Curling Canada jersey and, thanks to the photo booth, take a souvenir photo together with the BKT Stone, a limited edition version of a real curling stone.

However, the most special day is intended to be Saturday 21 March, when Canadian curling legend John Morris will be present in the BKT area for a meet & greet with fans. The transfer to Calgary was decisive for the career of the winner of two Olympic medals and he is now ready to return to the city to meet fans for photos, sign autographs and more besides. John Morris will in fact also be the protagonist of the On-Ice Experience: an exclusive activity reserved for selected Canadian BKT distributors, who will be able to test their skills together with the legend directly on the curling sheet where world curling athletes compete.

Sunday 22 March, on the other hand, will be the day of the BKT Power Play, the special BKT quiz devoted to curling fans. During the final phases of the competition, at two specific moments during the day, the attention will move from the sheet to the stands: two spectators, selected at random from among the public, will have the opportunity to win a BKT backpack and the official jersey of World Curling Canada. To win the double prize offered by BKT, the two fans selected will have to give the right answer to a question that will appear on the stadium Jumbotron.

With gadgets, souvenir photos and exclusive experiences, BKT, Title Sponsor of the competition since 2022, is ready to accompany fans at the most important matches of the BKT Women’s Curling Championship 2026, once again confirming its closeness to fans of the competition.
