This milestone marks the completion of the first edition of BKT’s social initiative, which is dedicated to donating new play areas to Serie BKT municipalities.

COMPLETING THE FIRST EDITION OF FATTORE CAMPO

Following the first project in Lecce, Cosenza emerged as the second winning city of the 2021–22 season. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new inclusive multi-purpose park at the Via degli Stadi training ground was a true celebration of community. BKT Tires rewarded the passion of the Rossoblù fans, whose high engagement outshone even larger metropolitan cities, proving that teamwork extends far beyond the pitch.

INCLUSION AND SOLIDARITY IN ACTION

The afternoon focused on fostering social bonds through sport and art. A highlights of the event was the performance by La Terra di Piero, a local volunteer organization that engaged the audience with an experimental theatrical piece. By funding this redevelopment, BKT aimed to provide the children of Cosenza with a safe, joyful space where celebration and inclusion go hand in hand.

LEGENDS ON THE MOBILE BENCH

The festive atmosphere was amplified by the presence of Cosenza Calcio legends Alberto Urban and Gigi Simoni. Arriving on BKT’s iconic mobile bench, the legends spent the afternoon signing footballs and taking photos with supporters. Between the snack stations and the organized play, BKT reaffirmed its commitment to bringing professional sports closer to the hearts of local communities.
