BKT — a leading manufacturer of Off-Highway tires and Title Sponsor of Serie BKT for six years — recently celebrated a milestone in its mission of social responsibility: the inauguration of the third Fattore Campo project. This initiative, aimed at donating new play areas to cities within the Serie BKT, continues to strengthen the synergy between BKT and the Lega Nazionale Professionisti B, with the vital support of the Municipality of Como and Como 1907.

FROM DIGITAL PLAY TO TANGIBLE IMPACT

Each season, fans engage in a parallel championship through BKTpremia, the official contest where every play earns points for their city’s ranking. Now in its third edition, Fattore Campo has already delivered a five-a-side pitch in Lecce and a multi-purpose park in Cosenza. In the 2022–23 season, Como emerged as a winner, leading to the complete redevelopment of the park on Via Traù.

A NEW CALISTHENICS HUB FOR COMO

The project transformed the area into a modern calisthenics hub, complemented by new basketball court markings, a tennis court safety net, and the replanting of four trees. BKT funded the entire redevelopment to provide a space for celebration and inclusion. The inauguration featured demonstrations, open classes, and a festive snack station for the local community and the youth players of Como 1907’s football academy.

LEGENDS ON THE FIELD

The event’s highlight was the arrival of football legend Gianluca Zambrotta and Como 1907 striker Patrick Cutrone. Both Como natives arrived on the iconic BKT mobile bench to sign footballs and share photos with fans. The ceremony, moderated by Sky Sport’s Daniele Barone, was attended by the Mayor of Como, Lorena Pea (Event & Brand Sponsorship Manager at BKT Europe), and representatives from LNPB, Como 1907, and Havas Play.
