BKT — a leading manufacturer of Off-Highway tires and Premium Partner of Euroleague Basketball — has spearheaded a major solidarity project to renovate the gymnasium and basketball court at the TEB Atasehir Anatolian High School in Istanbul.

LEAVING A MARK THROUGH SHARED VALUES

The primary objective of BKT’s sports sponsorships is to transmit core values: commitment, positivity, and passion. The motto #LeaveYourMark is about seeing people smile and providing concrete opportunities for recreation. Through the joint efforts of BKT and One Team — the CSR program of Euroleague Basketball — students at this public school on the Asian side of Istanbul can now practice sports in two completely renovated and modernized facilities.

CHAMPIONS ON COURT FOR THE COMMUNITY

Basketball in Turkey is attracting more young fans than ever, fueled by the success of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and Anadolu Efes in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. To highlight the significance of this project, the inauguration was attended by Gialloblù champions Pierriá Henry and Ismet Akpinar. The renovation focused on the indoor gym and the outdoor court—spaces utilized not only by students but also by local residents during after-school hours.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND TEAMWORK

For BKT, corporate social responsibility is essential, as demonstrated by the success of Fattore Campo for Serie BKT in Italy. In this Turkish project, teamwork was the key to reaching the goal: students, families, and the wider community collaborated as volunteers to make the school more inclusive and provide a safe environment for all young athletes to cultivate their talent.
