ALPHADJO CISSE IS THE WINNER OF THE SERIE BKT MVP TROPHY FOR OCTOBER
Goals, assists, and elite performances: Alpadjo Cisse has been awarded the second trophy of the season by BKT, Title Sponsor of the championship, as the MVP for the month of October.
The statistics of this young Italian talent, born in 2006, are those of a seasoned attacker. Since joining Catanzaro last summer, Cisse has played with remarkable composure, stepping into the spotlight from his very first appearances and recently earning his first call-up to the Italian National Under-21 side.
The MVP of the Month trophy — presented by BKT — a leading manufacturer of Off-Highway tires and Title Sponsor of the championship — is officially recognized by Lega B and celebrates Cisse’s meteoric rise. The award was determined by a combined vote from DAZN journalists, Stats Perform, and content creator Elena Mannucci. The official ceremony will take place ahead of Catanzaro-Pescara on matchday 13 of Serie BKT.
Opta data confirms his massive impact: with 3 goals, he was the top scorer of the month, recording 31 shot involvements (chances created and shots taken). Furthermore, he leads the Giallorossi with 87 completed passes in the opposition half — 13 more than any other attacker — and boasts the highest number of successful dribbles in the league over this period.
Hellas Verona was the first to recognize his potential, handing him his debut at just 16 years old. Now, all eyes are on Catanzaro to see how far Cisse can lead them in Serie BKT. Will he claim the MVP title again next month?
