An exciting weekend has concluded in the unique setting of Athens, the venue for the EuroLeague Final Four. For four days, the Greek capital became the absolute centre of attention for all basketball enthusiasts, together with BKT, there again this year at the most eagerly awaited appointment of the season.

The fan engagement activities organized by BKT — leader company in the production of Off-Highway tires and Premium Partner of Europe’s main basketball competition — began on Thursday 21 May with the last stage of Hoop District.

In a perfect blend of basketball and entertainment in the heart of Athens, Hoop District once again transformed the sport into a cultural experience, after the stages of Munich and Paris. Fans were able to experience unique moments inside the BKT Fan Zone, thanks to a dedicated photo booth allowing selfies to be taken alongside the official EuroLeague trophy. There was also no shortage of games and activities, such as basketball arcades and the popular Basketball Tic-Tac-Toe, making the whole evening exciting.

BKT initiatives continued throughout the weekend in the official EuroLeague Fan Zone. Here, as well as immortalizing their moment with the trophy, fans were able to compete in the BKT Hoops Area, testing their abilities and having fun with the branded arcades.

Yet the major protagonist of the official Final Four Fan Zone was the BKT Heartbeat Cabin. After accompanying fans throughout the Regular Season at European arenas, the BKT Heartbeat Challenge also arrived in the Final Four. Just like during the season, inside the cabin fans were able to give a voice to their passion, singing their team’s songs with all the energy they could muster. The moments inside the cabin were immortalized and put together in a personalized video that will become a unique memento for fans, their own personal BKT Heartbeat Moment.

For four days BKT accompanied fans in a full-blown basketball party, contributing to making the big EuroLeague season finale even more special. A commitment that confirms the company’s role not only as global partner of the competition, but also as an active supporter close to the community of fans.
