Another season of the BKT United Rugby Championship has reached its exciting conclusion with the Grand Final in Dublin, confirming once again the spectacular level of a competition that is capable of uniting two hemispheres on a single stage.

In Friday 19 June the home country side Leinster and the Vodacom Bulls of Pretoria took to the field, the protagonists of an intense, hard-fought final, with the season title at stake. The two teams found themselves in the final again after the Grand Final of the previous edition, which ended with the victory of the European team. The final confirms the international nature of the competition, which, for the second consecutive year, has seen two teams coming from the two different hemispheres play for the title, the perfect symbol of a tournament that is increasingly global.

BKT, Title Sponsor of the competition since 2022, was also a major protagonist of the event, contributing to making the experience at the final even more captivating. During pre-match, the special virtual pitch painting prompted great excitement from the fans in front of the screens. At the end of the match, the Title Sponsor awarded Sam Prendergast, last season’s BKT Men’s Rising Player with Ireland, in front of the fans with the Player of the Match trophy, highlighting the young player’s outstanding performance.

The leader company in the production of Off-Highway tires also accompanied the trophy ceremony, with a branded stage and the distribution of caps with the BKT logo to all the players, celebrating the victory together with the protagonists on the pitch.

So, for the fifth consecutive year, BKT has confirmed its place as a strategic partner alongside fans thanks to a programme of actions to enliven the pre-match activities of the most important competitions: games, initiatives and the distribution of gadgets contributing to creating an immersive and memorable experience.
